How this whole thing works.

Who do you photograph?

Your most precious little ones. Whether they’re newborns or in elementary school, an only child or the whole pack. I photograph all of them.

How long does an average session take?

Most sessions take up to an hour. There are always different factors that determine the length of the session. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the little ones are enjoying themselves. Keeping the sessions short ensures that they’re having fun and off and running to their next adventure. Obviously, if we are changing outfits or diapers things could run a little bit longer.

Expect the unexpected!

Picked out the perfect outfit for the shoot? Whether we’re meeting at your home or on location, I recommend having a back up outfit just in case that juice box managed to find itself on their clothes. Nursing babies are always on their own schedule and sometimes that happens to be right in the middle of the session. For newborns and infants, we sometimes have a slightly longer session because of this.

Most importantly, hungry tummies are never fun. I suggest keeping their favorite snacks handy as well as their favorite stuffed animal, security blanket, book or whatever they can’t leave the house without. If we’re meeting at your home, I suggest keeping these items handy.

What to wear?

This is an individual preference. I really encourage letting your children participate in this process. If they’re old enough to have a favorite shirt, dress or hat, let them wear that. They’ll feel more a part of the photo shoot and enjoy our time together. You can always switch them into something that you’ve picked out.

What area do you service?

I am based out of Silverlake, CA and travel throughout the greater Los Angeles area including the San Fernando Valley and beach neighborhoods. When traveling to surrounding areas an additional fee is added for travel.

I routinely visit New York and we can also schedule a session for when I am there.

Location, location, location.

So now that I know that you work in my neighborhood, where does this take place? Meeting at your home is always preferable. It’s the most familiar for your child and most comfortable for newborns and nursing moms. However, you might have a favorite spot in mind and traveling to your neighborhood park is always fun.

Do you photograph Birthday Parties?

Absolutely! I truly love doing these events. What's better than a room or park filled with kids eating cake. I enjoy shooting in these environments as much as the kids love playing in them.

Session fee for parties is $250.00. All other prices are the same.

When do I get my pictures?

Once we’ve done our session you will have access to your online gallery within one to two weeks. From there you can pick your favorite pictures and can expect your prints in about a weeks time. Fine art prints take longer.
